Project Description
Once funding is resolved, construction will begin on a new 5,800 SF building for Affordable Pet Care, designed by Hinge Studio in collaboration with the structural engineer, BTL. Inspired by local barns, the two-story structure includes a reception area, separate dog and cat waiting, treatment and surgical areas, wards, a laboratory, pharmacy, offices, break room, laundry, x-ray, and 10 exam rooms. The project encompasses site work, stormwater management, utilities, and landscaping. The building features SIPs roof panels for enhanced thermal performance, rubber flooring, and a location for a solar array covering the southern roof portion.
